| This is a very unique style of frame. It comes in full size only, and the back stays up. The seat is horizontal, with no angle like most futon frames, so it sits more like a conventional sofa, and operates more like a pull out sofa bed. |
| The logs used are White Cedar, and the slats, or deck is made of a local hardwood, which varies, and is normally either Ash, or Poplar, depending on the price and quality of the wood, at the particular time it is purchased. The frame comes partially assembled with all hardware. All this is needed is a cordless drill with a Phillips bit in it. The Arms, Slats, and Back, or all assembled, but just need to be attached. The frame is available in 3 finishes, or unfinished. Please note that the picture of the unfinished wood below, looks very rough, and the finishing smoothes out the look, and the feel of the rough wood. If you order the frame unfinished, it will be a little more rustic, and you might want to do a little sanding prior to applying your own finish. |
