The Placitas Platform Bed was designed to capture the spirit of the Southwest, the Placitas bed combines simple lines and a textured sunburst carving, creating a look that will spice up any bedroom. The Placitas Platform Bed Frame is made in USA, by Nomad Furniture. It is designed for use with a Futon Mattress, or a Conventional Mattresses. It is available in Twin, Extra Twin, Full, Queen, California King (72" X 84"), or Eastern King (78" X 80") sizes. It comes in either Maple, or Oak wood, in a beautiful hand rubbed Danish Oil finish, or a Darker, Walnut Oil Finish. If you are chemically sensitive, you can also order it unfinished. You can then finish it they way that you choose. This frame can be customized for a Box spring by making the headboard 6" higher, and lowering the slat deck 3". This gives an extra 9" for a box spring. If you desire, the legs can be raised by 3".
Details, Sizes, and Options
This Platform Bed Frame is Made in America, out of 100% Sustainable hardwood. There are dozens of ways that you can customize this bed, and almost any custom length, width or height can be ordered. The following are some of the available options. All beds come with a 5 year manufacturers limited warranty.
1. This Bed can be made out of premium American grown Appalachian Red Oak, or Hard White Maple.
2. All beds are made with 100% solid Poplar Hardwood Slats. The Standard Gap between the slats is about 3".
3. You can upgrade to Premium slats, which makes the gap about 1 1/2" between each slat.
4. You can also upgrade to Extra Slats, which makes the gap about 1/2".
5. The Platform Height is normally 12", however there are options to raise or lower the height of the bed.
6. You can raise the gap in the headboard by 3", 6", or 9" to accomodate thicker mattresses.
7. The legs can be made 3" Longer, giving 13" Clearance under standard Side Rails or 10 1/2" under Premium.
8. Most beds come with a low Footboard. It can be made taller and to match the style of most models.
9. You can upgrade from Standard 3 1/4" Side Rails, to 5 3/4" Premium Rails.
10. Legs can be made 3" Longer, giving 13" Clearance under standard Side Rails or 10 1/2" under Premium.
11. Standard Beds come with a hand rubbed Watco Danish Oil finished.
12. You can also choose Unfinished, Daddy Van's Zero VOC finish, or lighter or darker finishes.
13. Orders ship out in 3 to weeks, or you can upgrade to have it shipped out in about 7 or 12 business days. |
