Outdura fabric is a superior upholstery grade fabric for indoor or outdoor use. It has hundreds of uses, one of which is futon covers that will be used outdoors, or on a covered patio. It is water resistant, but not waterproof. If water stands on the cover, it will absorb through the fabric. Below are some of the other features of this fabric. The futon covers are made in America, with a hidden zipper construction and have a comfortable feel.

Piping, or Welting is a rolled piece of fabric that is used at the seams of the cover to give it a more finished or formal look. You can add piping to any of our Outdura Futon Covers, by selecting it from the drop down box during checkout, and by adding the 6 digit fabric number on the same, or for a contrast, on any of the other Outdura Fabrics.
