Tri Fold Lounger Futon Frame (Solid Poplar Hardwood)

This Tri Fold Lounger Futon Frame is a simple and strong futon frame design that has been around for many years. This is sometimes called an A-Frame, or a Tri Fold. This frame is actually less expensive than others made of Pine, and is much stronger, and goes together easier, and looks better. This versatile frame makes 13 unique positions, including the ability to adjust the back into 4 positions, raise or lower your knees, and raise or lower your feet. You can also fold the foot section under and make a sofa position, with the mattress draped over the back of the frame. To use the sofa position, your mattress must be flexible enough to bend over the back of the frame. The frame is 100% American Made of solid Tulip Poplar Hardwood, and comes unfinished, and ready to finish or stain any way you want. The frame is cut a little short in the length and width so that the futon mattress doesn't stick out, and to protect your shins from hitting the wood. This frame has a 5 year warranty and will stand up to many years of use. There are also several optional tables that can be ordered to match, in the same Poplar hardwood.

Available with Optional Comfortable and Affordable Cotton and Foam blend Futon Mattress which measures 6", but is dense enough to still be comfortable, and flexible enough to make all of the positions that this frame makes. The mattress comes in a Natural or Off White Color, and is made with layers of compressed cotton and high density foam, and then tufted to keep the layers from shifting or moving. The mattress is made with a heavy poly cotton twill outer shell in a 7.5 ounce material. It will provide years of comfortable service.
