1 This Gold Bond mattress is made of a very clean blend of pure cotton, and measures 6", but has about 10" of cotton highly compressed and very dense. It is an extra firm sleeping surface, and will loose a little depth after time, but not much. It will get more firm as time goes by. It needs to be rotated monthly left to right, and head to foot. Please don't compare this to a cheap fluffy cotton futon that will flatten down to 2 or 3 inches with lumps and bumps.
2 For added strength, the heavy cotton twill outer shell is constructed like a box–with top, bottom and side panels–not like a pillow as on other futons. Our futons have 25% more lace tufts than the competition.
3 We ‘crown’ each futon across the middle with several pounds of extra cotton top and bottom for extra comfort and support.
4 Double-stitched seams won’t split or unwind. 5 50 lbs of custom-blended “JOY” cotton batting, the densest most durable in the world, using nothing but the purest cotton picker and linter available. More densely packed cotton inside than any other futon.
5 A Gold Bond futon will retain its firmness, loftiness and support long after the competition falls flat.
