This is one of the first and most versatile types of futon frames made. They are sturdy, versatile, and space savers. They convert from a chair, to a lounger, and flat, to a bed, very easily. We suggest a very flexible mattress to use all positions of this frame. If you are only going to use it as a lounger and bed you can use almost any mattress there is. The Classic 6 Layer Futon is a very nice mattress that will work in all positions. They are available in Twin, Full, Queen, California King, and Eastern King. Custom sizes can be ordered. Call for special pricing. Sizes shown below are for the frame only. Assembly is required.
Please note: Since this is a natural wood product, you can expect little knots, waning, splits, and other common traits of wood to be present in these frames. None of these are considered a defect, and will not affect the quality or life span of this product. It's not a product made from a mold. Each frame is unique, hand made, and has it's own characteristics.
This frame requires assembly. The slats need to be attached. Using a cordless screwdriver will help.

The sizes below are for the frame only. We make the frames about 2" smaller in each direction so that that the mattress goes over the edge of the wood about 1" on each side so that you don't hit your leg on the wood.
