The width and thickness of the three arm slats and front legs make this a solid and sturdy design. Being a true Wall Hugger the Durango futon frame allows you to convert the frame from a futon sofa to a bed and back without moving it away from the wall. It also operates entirely from the front which means that you don't need space on the side to get to the back of the frame to operate it.
