The El Paso (Swing) Platform Bed

| Out from the West Texas town of El Paso...came the vision for the El Paso Bed. The gently curved arch of the doweled headboard gives this style a clean look, complimenting most bedroom decors. This solid Oak, or Maple Bed captures the natural ruggedness of the West. Whether you order the El Paso with a 28" or a 35" high headboard, you'll get a bed, easy to assemble with no visible connectors, and available in Twin, Full, and Queen sizes. This frame is made in USA, by Dapwood, formerly Ramblin Wood. It is designed for use with a Futon Mattress, or a Conventional Mattresses. It is available in Twin, Extra Long Twin, Full, Extra Long Full, and Queen sizes. It comes in either Maple, or Oak wood, in a 100% Natural hand rubbed Clear Linseed Oil finish, or a Darker Linseed Oil Finish. If you are chemically sensitive, you can also order it unfinished. You can then finish it they way that you choose. This frame can be customized to be used with several thicknesses of futon mattresses or conventional mattresses. You can also order it for use with a box spring and mattress set.

Details, Sizes, and Options

| This Platform Bed Frame is Made in America, out of 100% Sustainable hardwood. There are dozens of ways that you can customize this bed, and almost any custom length, width or height can be ordered. The following are some of the available options that you can order.
|
1. This bed can be made out of premium Appalachian Red Oak, or White Hard Maple, which are very strong American grown Hardwoods.
2. Slats are 100% Pine, and spaced 3" apart, you can can order double pine with has 1/4" spaces between the slats.
3. Slats can also be made of Poplar, which is a hardwood, or Double Poplar Slats also reducing the spaces between them.
4. Platform Height is normally 12", however there are options to raise or lower the height of the bed as well.
5. Headboard gap adjustment is used to adjust the headboard height to accommodate various mattress or mattress and box spring thicknesses.
6. Footboards can be made taller on most models.
7. Oak beds can be unfinished, or finished in Light or Darker Pure Linseed Oil, and Maple frames can be unfinished, or finished in Light Linseed Oil.
8. Normally, your order leaves the factory in about 2 1/2 weeks. A Rush leaves in about 2 weeks, and with a Double Rush leaves in about 1 Week.
