Click / Click Metal Futon Hinges- This item is a Pair of Quality Metal Futon Hinges. These
hinges have 2 positions, Couch, and Bed. We may substitute
Triple Click hinges that also have a lounge position, and fit the
same. The difference
between the Click Click hinges and the Standard Hinges is that they operate
from the front. When you lift the seat the hinges click and
then release. When the frame is in a bed, you lift the seat
and it clicks and locks, and then you tip the seat down, and the
back comes up at the same time. They are also known as Futon Transmissions and are used on Metal Futon Frames or Futon Frames with Wooden Arms and a Metal Seat and Back Deck.
These will typically interchange with
Standard Hinges
or with
Triple Click Hinges. You may
also order an Optional set of hardware for a metal frame. Although there is no guarantee that these hinges or hardware will work for your frame,
but they are very common and will work in most cases. | Dimensions | | A to B = length of the bottom of one hinge is 12.5 "
C to D = length from the center of each hole that attaches the hinge to the
arms of the frame is 11 5/16" E to F = distance between the 2 holes in the top of the hinge which attach to the Seat or Back is
12 3/4"G to H - Distance between each set of 2 holes which attach the Seat or Back is
6 5/8"I to J = Overall length of the top surface which the seat and back attach to is 2
